I am LOVING these cake smashes, I think her parents and I laughed the entire time she was tearing into it. And even though I don’t normally like selective coloring, I thought this one just needed it.

remember him from the saddle picture earlier??? I finished proofing out his session, and think I “awww’ed” at almost every shot. I can’t WAIT for his proofs to get here to give to his parents.
who we totally tired out and she fell asleep on us not quite halfway thru her session. And I still just shake my head thinking about her, every time the camera was up she would just stare me down….as soon as her mom would change her clothes or diaper…she would be ALL smiles. But we still have lots of cute ones, even with her snoozing away.
have been in town hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa for awhile, and before they headed back home they decided to do some pictures. And even though one of them tried to play shy with my camera, we soon had him laughing and we all had a good time while getting some great shots.

June 21, 2010that we snuck pictures in before wheat harvest, and I had fun with the little guys…they kept finding new “spots” for me to take their pictures. I loved having them so excited to be in front of my camra.

June 19, 2010It has been insane here at the studio, I know I have lots of you waiting on your preview and proofs and they are coming I promise. I learned the hard way to stay off of games on facebook when I got a nasty virus on the studio computer, I guess that’s what I get for taking a break huh.
So to tide you over, here is a mini sneak peek of my newest baby planner, he is ADORABLE and I was so excited to do this shot.
I’ve gone AWOL again, and I really do have a good excuse, I promise. I LOVE shooting weddings, but I always forget the amount of work there is on the back end. But its worth it, weddings are turning into my favorite events to shoot. And I have several more to show soon as well, it was a busy wedding spring.
you put a session in the books without really knowing when you were going to be able to do it…..this family and I had this planned for awhile….just had to wait on it to warm up and for the wheat to get ripe for these. We ended up with the perfect evening, all sorts of smiles and pictures that I couldn’t wait to show.
and this family was a total riot. Grandma & Grandpa got the whole crew together to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, and the kids were all in great moods and ready to have fun.
and didn’t mean to go MIA on here. Wedding season is here and between coffee table books (which I can’t wait for it to get here to take pics for all of you) and editing I’ve pretty well been buried in photoshop. I’ve got tons to show you, but sadly not enough time in the day to get it done. I’ll be better….I promise.
So here is a little something to tide you all over. These kids are great, they like to have fun and we ended up with some shots that will make their mom happy, especially since they agreed to do it for her for Mother’s Day.
