So finally I’m back in the swing of things after an eventful weekend (took pictures of an adorable little guy, and then later that night my car decided to DIE on me in Kansas City, I was so not amused).

So first I have an amazing senior girl.  She was so quiet at first…..then we decided to start picking on mom and dad a little and that warmed her RIGHT up.  We also got interupted when it started POURING on us….we decided to be patient a bit and were able to sneak in a few more shots.  She was such a complete natural and I had a very hard time to just pick four.

I used to work with 2 of the 3 of these girls at the bank and was so excited when they all made the trip down.   I think I laughed the whole time as they bossed eachother around and the older two generally picked on the youngest (and as a youngest sibling I so feel her pain).   And I did have to stare at them awhile while I was proofing them to make sure I could pick the right name with the right girl.

by me or my camera, but I got a few of this 3 month old cutie before she let us know she was DONE.  I can’t belive how much she has changed since her newborn pictures, and I’m really looking forward to her 6 month to see her little personality bloom.

I had to work for my smiles with the little guy, but everyone else was good to go.  I had a great  time hanging with these guys, and can ‘t wait for them to see their proofs. :)

I want to say that I can do that….but yea lets be honest there is NO way.  This senior was the sweetest thing ever, and her personality had me smiling the ENTIRE weekend.  I loved every second of our session.

This was number 3 out of 4 weddings I did in one month…..and it couldn’t have been in a prettier location.  We were at the Cowntown Visitors Center, where we had the river behind us, and some beautiful weather as well.  They are the cutest couple, and I didn’t even have to bribe him to dip her when they did their kiss….that was ALL him. :)

So you better get used to ….

September 13, 2009

seniors….its definately that time of year.   You can tell the theme for this one….he was shy until he started talking ball.   He is hopefully going on to play in college as well, which is very exciting.  His mom and I had a GREAT time teasing him, and hopefully he had fun too.

to this couple…..and since it was a special year they decided to do family portraits with their gang.  It was a great time, all the kids were smiling and having fun and we ended up with some awesome shots.  Plus I love shooting out at their place…they have the coolest building that I’ve been able to use in the past.

That would be the sound of silence with  kids BACK to school.  As much as I love summer and being home with the gang, it was time.  And all three of mine were actually ready this year to go back and see their friends.

Since it was raining on the first day, and my camera doesn’t come out in the rain (unless its a wedding I can’t reschedule), I didn’t get my picture in front of the school…..the older two boys didn’t want them taken anyway….but Mally loves it and so afterschool we headed to the studio.  After the first couple, she decided it was time to have fun….lots of funny faces and then the jumping to show me her moves. LOL

I”ve got lots more coming….stay tuned.  I’m in the end of finishing up 2 more weddings (4 weddings in a row will make for a ton of pictures to go thru I found out) and if your waiting on your sneak peek….its on its way.

I had the opportunity to take this gangs pictures…..last year the little one was a little leary of me….THIS year she was ALL smiles and ready for the camera.  What a difference a year makes.
