So once a year our resident Abe Lincoln shaves his beard….and thats of course when his amazing wife wants pictures done….so we had to sneak in before he could get fuzzy again and get these done.  And I think the best behaved out of the whole group was the DOG…I’ve never seen an animal pose for pictures the  way he did…I totally loved it…..and hopefully they love their pictures as much as I do.

This adorable little guy had a rough start, so we didn’t get those squishy first week photo’s like his mom and I planned, but we still manged to get some sweet shots….once he decided to go to sleep.  His big brother was SO patient with us and is one of the proudest brothers I’ve seen.  The hardest part of the whole session is trying to pick which pictures to show on here.

I had the opportunity to be the photographer for this amazing family….in Salt Lake City.  It was a huge event in their lives, and I’m so happy to have been able to capture the moment for them.  It got a little hairy on the flight out there….for awhile I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get OUT of the DFW airport (that airport hates me) but I finally made it and wow I definately wasn’t in Kansas anymore.  I so wanted to drag the mountains home with me.

So a whirlwhind trip to Utah and back…..and can’t wait to show you all those pictures…..but FIRST I have another engagement couple.  These two were a blast….we got to explore the COOLEST of locations……and despite it being VERY hot we ended up with some fun shots that show how much these two are meant to be.

I’m off to shoot an out of town event….and so I’m leaving you all with this for a few days.   I had a BLAST with this shoot, and they are very patiently waiting for their proofs.  Just one picture…you have to wait till the weekend for the real sneak peek….but can you guess where we got to go for this shoot (and do you have any idea how EXCITED I was when I found out we were getting keys to the place)???? (and the couple that I was taking and my faithful assistant can’t answer this question)

A week or so ago I did this totally fun engagement shoot up in Manhattan, and so then afterwards I had the opportunity to stop by this newborns home and get a few shots for her mom and dad.  She wasn’t real impressed with my camera (but hopefully in the future I get another chance and change her mind) and was more interested in her lunch than in me but we still ended up with a couple of great shots…plus I got my baby fix in.   She was totally adorable guys and I can’t wait to watch her wind you guys around that itty bitty finger of hers.

I was one of just a few that knew that this BBQ wasn’t your typical one.  The looks on their guests faces when they found out their good friends were actually getting married was priceless…and I was so happy to be a part of it.  We had tons of laughs, great weather and LOTS of fun pictures.  Congrats again guys, and thanks so much for letting me be part of your day. :)
