So my little miss got a wild “hair” yesterday, and decided to get her hair cut.  so then she wanted to do the whole “Locks of Love” thing again (and don’t ask me where my camera was when it was getting done), so we ended up getting 10 INCHES cut off.  Isn’t she adorable????

This one had the most natural beautiful smile, and TONS of fun clothes.  We ended up with the perfect evening for her senior portraits.  I’ve worked with some awesome kids this year, and have loved every second of it…..so a huge thank you to ALL of our 2009 grads….and their parents.

So I’m on the downhill slide, only a few more 2009 seniors….especially since we are so close to graduation.  We ended up at another cool location thanks to his family, and ended up with some very cool shots. :)

So funny story last week…..and I’m finishing off proofing my last few sessions waiting for the concert tonight so I decided to post this outake.  I’m taking pictures of this…surprise…senior.  He is SMIRKING at me, and I hear something behind me and turn around….and there is a COW.  Just standing there WATCHING me.  So I flip around, point my camera at him and he TAKES off running.  So I take a few more of the senior, and out of the corner of my eye THERE he is again, totally making me nervous just watching me.  Got my picture this time before the stupid thing tried to jump back IN his fence, got caught up…I’m freaking out and my senior is just rolling his eyes at me.  He goes to help the cow and by the time he gets close to it, it gets loose and is back in the pen.

I thought it was funny anyway.

Just got home from the prom event (and a HUGE thank you to everyone that came by the studio, I had a BLAST today) and figured I needed to stop in and update this.  I had WAY too much fun with this one, he brought the coolest props.   This is my first one to bring a motorcycle, and I’m not sure it could’ve BEEN any shinier.

So this senior and I were driving around looking for cool spots in town, and we get to talking about her grandpa’s farm and can you say EXCITED???  There were so many picture opportunities there, and so little time.  I saw this bus and knew I HAD to use it and its the new “fave of the week”.

That post heading was JUST for this senior….she will know what it means.  We had SO much fun (well I did anyway), beautiful weather and ended up with some amazing shots.  I’m just in the middle of proofing out her session, and we already have so many to choose from….I can’t wait for her to see them all.

So last week began the last minute rush of seniors that ALL realized they have a very short time left in high school, and all of a sudden they need pictures.  Which means I’m going slightly insane (thats my excuse for the ankle incident, I’m totally blaming it on that and not on my klutzyness).

This one is special (well they ALL are) since she designed and painted my grafitti wall in the studio that I adore. :)   And it was SO funny, but she could NOT do a straight face very well.  We had to WORK at it to get it.   I had a horrible time trying to decide on which ones to show, so I just closed my eyes and clicked.

Its CRAZY right now, finishing up the last of my seniors.  Can’t believe spring is FINALLY (well hopefully) here, so what better way to celebrate than with the spring picture event.  Thank you so much for everyone that came, the next one will be for 4th of July.  Here is one of my favorite little girls modeling for me.
