I LOVED this group SO much, and of COURSE it had to be my Friday Favorite. I think the family that was playing at the park beside this pool thought we were nuts, but we ended up with a great shot and had lots of laughs. These kids all worked together, took off at the same time and it came together just as I had imagined.
this weeks fave….the whole reason I ever got started in this…..are MINE. I got in trouble recently from my momma, who informed me that she was going to be taking my kids somewhere else to get their pictures done if I didn’t give her updated ones. I kinda laughed, then she dragged me to her mantle….and there were the pictures of my sisters kids (some of them I have taken, the others school pics) and all of them pretty recent, and then there was my side. Mally is about 4 in them, Zack about 7 and Alex maybe 10. So she had a point.
So I dragged them kicking and screaming (well not Mally) and this is what we came up with. And these will be a repeat for those of you on facebook, but I HAD to show them on here as well.
and well the summer turned out a bit crazier than I anticipated, so my Friday Favorite has been lacking the last few weeks…..but here we go. And since I’m not sure when the last time I’ve put MY munckins up on the blog, they are the perfect choice for today.
Two of my gang played tennis this summer, it was hot, kinda crazy but the High school kids in charge did a great job of keeping all of them in line.
Ok so I’ve been lacking in updates, I”ve been busy getting last minute graduation cards and orders finished up, so I haven’t been online much. And check back later today and I’ll have another for you all. But here is some pictures that I forgot I had as well, and on facebook today I was directed to another photog’s site from Alaska and after looking at her amazing scenery shots, I was inspired to pull up mine from a few years ago. I think this was even before I started doing this professionally, but I had fun looking through them and picking out a few to show.
Ok I can say that was the fastest week ever. I was sitting here, getting ready for a wedding I have this evening, and realized it was FRIDAY!!!! So earlier this week, I stumbled across a file of pictures from a past vacation. Alex was looking for some pictures for a school project, and THIS is what I found instead of the ones he wanted. And after having no time off for the last 6 weeks, it was fun to flip thru and remember a favorite time.
So, I decided to start doing something new here on the blog. Every friday, I’m going to put up MY favorite photo’s. The whole reason I ever got into this was my love of photography. And one thing I have learned in the recent months, is no matter how much I do love what I do, I still need to shoot just for the fun of it.
So todays friday fave….I actually did awhile back. I went to the zoo..with a friend (don’t tell my kids LOL). And it was SO much fun, not worrying about where my gang was and just shooting the animals. Plus it was a cool day, and they were all very active and wanted their photo’s taken. Especially the Lions….I really wondered what they were thinking as they stared me dow.
