that has  been together FOREVER, and I was so lucky to be able to be there for their amazing wedding day.  During their reception, they did a slideshow and I loved having the chance to see their story.  We had an absoutely beautiful day, and their whole wedding party was up for “anything” as they put it, and I held them to it once I saw the fairgrounds that was just around the corner.   Then at their dance that evening, another first for me….I had the opportunity to take pictures of the BRIDE singing at her own dance….her band was there to help her celebrate, and they literally rocked ( www.suspectrocks.us) And so I  ended up with so many shots I wanted to show on here and couldn’t choose between them, so you get more than normal.

                                                            blogpost

Its been pretty nuts for about a month now, and only getting busier as we head into that Christmas Rush.   I’ve been pretty quiet here on the blog, but I’ve been busy proofing out pictures (in case you were wondering where your preview is) and I’m behind on showing them on here.  So here is a quick one….definately a different kind of shoot for me.   Charlie Ellis and I headed up to the other side of Hutch to do this and I think the most exciting thing was getting to fly the plane on the way back (Charlie was BRAVE wans’t he LOL).  I have another one coming next month, and to make it even MORE exciting I will have one of my best friends from San Antonio to help…..she is staying thru the weekend to help with SANTA DAY sponsered by the Conway Springs Chamber of Commerce on December 12th.

I’ll be updating this daily for the next few days to get myself caught up….so keep checking back. :)

I had the opportunity to meet with this family thru the Littlest Hero Organization and loved being able to be a part of his story.  He was quite the ham, and pretty well smiled the entire session.  Plus I have never seen a group of siblings get along so well (even though mom promised that as soon as I left it would be a different story, I’m not so sure) and we ended up with some great shots of all of them.  Thank you guys SO much for having me, and keep me updated on his progress.

I had the opportunity to be the photographer for this amazing family….in Salt Lake City.  It was a huge event in their lives, and I’m so happy to have been able to capture the moment for them.  It got a little hairy on the flight out there….for awhile I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get OUT of the DFW airport (that airport hates me) but I finally made it and wow I definately wasn’t in Kansas anymore.  I so wanted to drag the mountains home with me.
